1000 Words holiday show opening Thursday Dec 4

Please join us  Thursday December 4th, 2008.
The young photographers will be in attendance with their teachers so come show your support for this wonderful program!
There will also be handcrafted jewelry for sale so you can do some holiday shopping while you enjoy the show. 


The “1000 Words” exhibit features the work of 18 third and fourth grade students from PS90 in the Central Bronx who have used the medium of digital photography to develop visual and verbal literacy.

• Merge onto I-287 E/CROSS WESTCHESTER EXWY via exit 8 toward WHITE
PLAINS.
• Take the RT-100 S/RT-119 E exit 5 toward WHITE PLAINS.
• Merge onto TARRYTOWN RD/NY-119 S.
• Turn LEFT onto MAIN ST/NY-119 E.
• Turn RIGHT onto BANK ST.
• End at 10 Bank St White Plains NY
• Turn into driveway at light shared w/ Mercedes dealer.
• Push button at gate to tell guard you are here for Pearson and enter
garage. Park in “Visitor” parking which is a quick left and then right.
Enter building lobby and then take elevator to 9th floor.

From Connecticut
• Take 95 South to 287 West (exit 21)
• Take 287 West to Exit 6 (White Plains)
• Make a left at the light
• Make next left onto North Broadway
• Follow North Broadway for approx. 7 lights
• Make right turn onto Martine Ave.
• Follow Martine Ave. to the end—stay in the left lane
• You will see Pizzeria Uno on your left before end of Martine Ave.
• Make second left after Pizzeria Uno into parking garage driveway
• Push button at gate to tell guard you are here for Pearson and enter
garage. Park in “Visitor” parking directly to your right. Enter building
lobby and then take elevator to 9th floor.

From George Washington Bridge

Traveling show: Focus on Africa
Seems like we have a lot of adventurous traveling colleagues in our midst! If you’ve been to Africa and would like to exhibit photos from your trip, please let us know. We may also try to tie in some fundraising efforts.

Fourth Annual Group show: Pearson and Family
For this group show, we will invite employees and their family members to exhibit their work. Kids, moms, dads, partners, grandparents, etc. will be invited to show their work next to their Pearson family member.
